Jazz Paints- Art Parties by Jasmine Alvarado Studio
Jazz Paints Art Parties are joyful, instructor-led paint experiences that bring people together for celebration, creativity, and unforgettable memories. Designed for birthdays, girls’ nights, team bonding, bridal parties, and any gathering that deserves a meaningful twist, each session guides your group step-by-step through a unique painting that everyone takes home. No experience is needed—just a willingness to relax, have fun, and make something beautiful.
Community Studio Sessions
Community Studio Sessions are more than just art classes—they are creative gatherings designed to nurture rest, reflection, and connection. Each session offers a welcoming space where people of all artistic levels can explore materials freely, guided by thoughtful prompts rather than strict instructions. Instead of focusing on a final product, participants are encouraged to slow down, express themselves, and enjoy the process of making art alongside others.
Through journaling, mark-making, and mindful exploration, these sessions invite creativity as a practice of restoration and community building. Whether you’re seeking inspiration, connection, or simply a peaceful moment to create, Community Studio Sessions offer a place where art becomes a bridge between self and community.
Workshops
Workshops are structured, skill-building experiences designed to help participants grow in confidence with specific art mediums. Each workshop begins with clear instruction in beginner-friendly techniques—such as brush control, color blending, or layering—before opening space for guided experimentation. Unlike Community Studio Sessions, which focus on free exploration and reflection, Workshops provide step-by-step learning balanced with creative play, so every participant leaves with both new skills and a sense of accomplishment.
Whether you’re just starting your art journey or looking to refine your practice, our Workshops are crafted to be supportive, approachable, and inspiring.
Art Educator
With over five years of experience teaching K–12 students and leading community-based programs, I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt passion to every learning space. My teaching is guided by these qualities:
Inclusive & Empowering – I believe everyone is an artist. I design experiences where participants feel seen, encouraged, and free to explore without pressure to “be perfect.”
Reflective & Mindful – My approach integrates art with reflection, offering prompts, journaling, and moments of pause that deepen the creative process.
Culturally Grounded – With a background in art history, I weave in diverse artistic traditions and contexts to help learners connect with art as a universal language.
Community-Oriented – I view art as a bridge for connection. My programs bring people together to share stories, collaborate, and celebrate creativity as a collective act.
Creative Leadership – From leading art clubs and exhibitions to directing children’s ministry, I excel at organizing, guiding, and inspiring groups of all ages to engage meaningfully with art.
