About the Artist

Creating art that invites memories, reflection, and reconnection.

Hi, I’m Jasmine, an Atlanta-based visual artist and art educator who creates reflective, community-centered works inspired by everyday beauty and belonging. My art is deeply rooted in memory—especially the influence of my childhood and the people who shaped me.

One of the most unintentional yet impactful lessons I received as a child came from my mother. While we were doodling together, she told me, “If you mess up, turn it into a flower. If you don’t know what to do, turn it into a flower.” That phrase has never left me. It continues to shape both my creative process and my outlook on life. Flowers have become a recurring symbol of grace in my work—visual reminders that mistakes and uncertainty can bloom into something beautiful.

I work across many mediums, but digital art has become the most accessible and expressive tool for me in this current season of life. As a professionally certified K–12 art educator with a background in art history, I’ve been serving and creating within my community for over six years.

For me, art-making is an act of rest. It’s how I slow down, reflect, and reconnect—with myself, with others, and with the world around me. I hope my work offers that same sense of restoration to those who experience it—a gentle invitation to do something for the reconnection of it.
